Tech in 2012 - What Can We Expect?

The next 12 months is going to be an extraordinary time in the tech world so I thought it was time I examined what products will be rocking our world in 2012. These are certainly exciting times! So here I show you what is happening with tech in 2012.

Windows 8

Tech in 2012

It is rumoured that Windows 8 will be released in the summer of 2012. The biggest change will be the brand spanking new user interface that is set to wow consumers. Large text and coloured panel will surely make it stand out. All you gamers out there will be happy to know that Kinect for Windows will launch soon and will work alongside Windows 8 for a unique experience. Kinect will also provide the user with voice control over their PC (eventually).

Ultrabooks

This is the next step in the evolution of laptops. Super thin but super powerful. New models may feature Intels brand new processor which offers many cutting edge features such as HD games and touchscreen capacity. Expect an explosion of ultrabooks this year.

Gaming

An exciting year of gaming is ahead. First up sees the release of the successor to the PSP Go - the PS Vita. Complete with a quad core processor, touchscreen and two cameras this device could end the Nintendo DS's dominance of the handheld gaming market.
The summer will also see the release of the Wii U and the rumoured release of the Playstation 4. It could be a clash of the titans style battle between the top gaming consoles.

iPad 3

If my sources are to be believed then Apple may release the iPad 3 before the end of the year. What we do know for sure though is that it will feature a 10inch screen with crystal clear clarity and a casing made from carbon fibre. The exact specs are at the moment unknown. Apple love to surprise people so I figure they've a few tricks up their sleeves.

So there you have it. Tech in 2012 leaps to new bounds and are really pushing those innovation buttons. I can't wait to see how they all fare in the eyes of consumers. Which product are you most excited to see or use?
